My mother started learning ballroom dance at 70. She is now 87.
She survived my father. She survived a devastating fall in 2022 — missed a step, fractured her face and right arm, spent four days in the ICU, and had a titanium plate inserted into her facial bone. She healed. And she went back to dancing.
Her memory is sharp. She moves with grace. She has defied osteoporosis. She is still inspired to move by music at 87 years old. The combination of remembering steps, moving the body, and following the rhythm of music — I have watched it transform her from the inside out.
When I decided to close my California practice and move to Las Vegas, the first thing I did was sign up for ballroom dance lessons three times a week. I wanted what she had. I felt my posture change. My neck lengthen. My confidence grow. I began to carry myself differently — not just on the dance floor, but everywhere.
For nearly three decades I cared for a panel of 2,000 patients in California. The cases that moved me most were never the complex prescriptions or the specialist referrals. They were the moments I inspired someone to make a real life change — and watched their health transform without a single medication.
I have supported nonprofit organizations helping patients with movement disorders learn ballroom dance. I have watched people with Parkinson's move with unexpected grace and speak with tears about their improved balance and memory. I was moved beyond words.
Water carves stone with time. Look at the breathtaking sandstone of Red Rock Canyon — shaped not by force, but by patient, persistent movement over centuries. That is what disciplined, music-driven movement does to the human body. It carves. It shapes. It restores.
Grace & Strength is not a fitness program. It is the secret of longevity I have spent a lifetime witnessing — and the second career I have chosen to devote myself to.
If you are ready to carry yourself differently, I am ready to walk that path with you. Grace & Strength program will kick start that life long journey.
